4. How long is the average video?
Running times vary between 1-5 minutes long. You'll be amazed how much information can be conveyed in that amount of time.

5. What format are the videos in?
The videos are provided in the WMV format.

7. The video/audio stutters or skips around, what can I do?
You may be using an older version of Windows Media Player; version 7.1 or above is recommended. If you're using a player aside from Windows Media Player, your codec might be out-dated. If the program doesn't download the proper codec automatically, we recommend Microsoft's Windows Media Player.

8. I have an Apple computer, can I watch the videos too?
You sure can! However, you must have a video program that can play WMV files. If you have Mac OS X, we recommend Microsoft‘s Windows Media Player 9. You can download it for free here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.aspx.

If you have an older Apple operating system, we recommend Windows Media Player 7.1 for Mac.

9. I have a dial-up connection, can I download Game Xplain's videos?
While we recommend a broadband connection (such as DSL or cable), dial-up users shouldn't have any problem downloading our videos. However, depending on your connection speed, download time may vary between 5 minutes to half an hour, or even longer. If you have any trouble at all, please contact us and we'll be more than happy to assist you.

10. I can hear the audio, but all I see is a white screen. What gives?
This is a problem with Mozilla broswes (Firefox, Netscape, etc), though it only happens while the video is loading. Once the movie has loaded completley, the video should become visable. If not, simply move the window a small amount to make the white screen disappear.
